There will be an evening of music to commemorate remembrance will be presented by Britannia Concert Band, conducted by Stewart Smith and Organ played by the Cathedral Organist Dr. Derek Collins.
Most of the music will be very familiar from the various remembrance services that takes place throughout the country.
You will hear the band and organ come together in special arrangements of Edward Elgar’s Nimrod and the well-known Organ Symphony by Saint-saens.
They will also join to mark the war in Ukraine with an arrangement of ‘Prayer for Ukraine.’ The program will finish with the rousing melody Rule Britannia with a new arrangement for the band and Organ.

Price – Admission is free, with a voluntary donation towards Saint Columb’s Cathedral Girls Choir
