Flute Band Church
***SOUP & SERVE SENIOR SATURDAY***Times are difficult at the minute, money is tight in the run up to Christmas, the days are getting shorter and there is a chill in the air… The committee and members of FBC would like to bring our senior citizens a little bit of warmth and cheer for a couple of hours on Saturday 10th December, from 2.30pm until approx 4pm in the Parochial Hall in Carlton Street.We will be serving some delicious Homemade Soup with a roll, followed up with a Sweet Mince Pie and Tea or Coffee, the band will also be playing a set of Christmas Carols and well known Christmas tunes for our guests on the day.We are unfortunately limited to catering for 150 guests on the day. If you are 60 years of age or over then this invitation is for you. If you have a family member, friend or neighbour who fits into this category then this invitation is also for them.For anyone that is interested please contact the band through the Facebook page or contact a band member and supply names of those wishing to attend to reserve a place.***This is a completely FREE afternoon for our guests, there will be no charge/collection or request for donation made or accepted on the day. We simply wish to give something back and bring some cheer to these valued and important people within our society. – Soli Deo Gloria
