Bands marshall for 12.30pm for 1pm sharp move off .
Our band will be holding a short service at Airdrie Cenotaph at 12 midday with the families of those who are being visually remembered on parade . Everyone is invited to this to join us as we commemorate those lives lost to mental health issues.
The parade itself finishes at Gartlea Community Centre ML69PL , where the band will be hosting our annual culture day . Buckets will be spread in the hall for a collection to help the Light of Foot organisation carry on the outstanding work they do within the marching band community.
Entry to the indoor will be £5 only band members playing at the culture day will receive free entry , everyone else pays the enrtry fee.
Hot food and cold beer will be available all day and night .
LPWWA stall will be in attendance.
For those coming to view the parade there are a couple of good vantage points. Top cross then down the hill will let you see the parade twice if you are staying in the town centre.
Multi storey car park on hallcraig Street gives a good vantage point.
Witherspoons in bank Street would be the ideal spot for those wanting a beer , and to catch the parade as well.
All marshalls to meet at start point at 12.30
And could any band bringing their own marshalls let us know ASAP please.
