45th ANNIVERSARY PARADE

Only a few days to go til our 45th anniversary parade on Friday evening folks. Weather forecast is giving a dry evening so hopefully we’ll see plenty of bands & spectators in attendance.

This year will once again be a competition parade with usual categories given prizes. All prizes will be handed out when we have finished parading ourselves.

The route will be our usual route starting at Coleraine Showgrounds & finishing & the showgrounds/Ballycastle Road.

We are pleased to announce that Pride of the Bann Auld Boys will be taking part & leading the parade for us.

The police have informed us that there will be traffic management in operation in the town from around 7pm so we would advise visiting bands to come in from the top end of the Ballycastle Road & parking will be available at Hillmans Way, just off the Ballycastle Road. We will have members there to show any bands to the start of the parade.

The Social Club at the Showgrounds will be open for refreshments as usual.

Could we please ask that all bands will adhere to any directions/instructions given to them on the night by our Marshall’s. This is to ensure that the parade runs as smoothly as possible without any disruption.

Also any bands who have yet to do so, could you confirm attendance to give us a rough idea of numbers to expect on the night.

The parade will be starting as close to 8.15pm as possible.
