Limavady Orange Heritage Centre is located on the site of Limavady Orange Hall, which was officially opened in 1891 by the Earl of Erne, who was Imperial Grand Master of the Orange Institution. The building cost £700 to erect at that time.
The modern Limavady Orange Heritage Centre represents a £700,000 plus investment in the local Orange District headquarters and is a sign that the Orange Order in Limavady is vibrant and positive about its future.
The Centre is home to the Roe Valley Credit Union Ltd, and has lodge facilities, the Orange Heritage exhibition area, a function room, a kitchen and office facilities. It is available for group visits and guided tours.
