Somme Ass Parade
On Saturday the 22nd October 2022 the 36th (Ulster) Division Memorial Association Corby, West End Somme Association and East End Great War Society along with New Stevenston Loyal Flute Band will be holding a parade and service of remembrance in the National Arboretum, Lichfield.
Our parade will leave the Museum/Cafe at the National Arboetum at approximately 13.30 and make it’s way down to the Memorial Stone which the 36th (Ulster) Division Memorial Association erected.
There a service will be held before the parade returns stopping at the UDR area and that of the Scottish Orangemen, where wreaths will be laid.
On completion of the parade we will be retiring to RBL for a social function with entrainment etc. Admission to the RBL is £5.
